The whole BLES project team met for the second time. This time the meeting was in Sofia. For the team a big conference hall in the hotel Jasmin was provided. All technical standards were prepossessed so that the introduction of the online learning platform “Moodle” could be realized easily.

The project management, Mr. Osinski, informed the partners about the present status of the project and the soon needed project tasks, like the preparation of the interim report or the organization of the workshops. Other topics were the needed translations of the learning contents and the acquisition of the participants.

Up to now all partners have send the information flyer to potential participants resp. companies and there are already a lot of confirmations to take part on the course “The Eco-Recycler – Treatment of biodegradable waste”. The team in Bulgaria could already assort a group of 25 participants. The team in Malta & Gozo is supplying the course for interested students so that those one have a good entrance already with a qualification into their professional life. The team could already assort a group of 23 participants. In Lithuania 33 participants would like to take part. Also Poland, Latvia and Estonia are in contact with potential participants.

Also, the first movie about “Composting, its sources and processing” is produced and shown on the partner meeting.

The meeting was also intended to make the partners familiar with the learning platform „Moodle“ and to inform them about the manifold possibilities of Moodle as well as the learning philosophy. In the practical training the partners learned and trained the implementation and change of contents, the registration of the participants, change of the own profile, the usage of the forums or the implementation of the test a.s.o..
So that the international partners could get to know each other more intensively, a nightly sightseeing walk was organised and therefore the partners had a first impression of the largest metropolis in Bulgaria.
