Learning platform is ready to use PDF Print E-mail

The first Bles (Blended Learning Environmental Science) Course in the field of Biodegradable Waste was set up on the bew2learn.net-platform. This learning platform offers the right moodle-based virtual environment for proceeding the e-lerning parts of the blended learning arrangement. In the strict sense seven courses are ready to use. For each partner language one course was prepared. All courses will start in November 2008 with the obligatory introductional workshop in the restricted partner countries Bulgaria, Estonia, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland.

In 6 Units and further five workshops during the next 10 month participants from seven European countries will learn more about the following topics:

Unit I: Sources and quantities of organic waste
Unit II: Composition and characteristics of organic waste
Unit III: Legislative basics
Unit IV: Logistic, collection and transport of biodegradable waste fractions
Unit V: Treatment of biodegradable waste
Unit VI: Climate protection – potentials of organic waste

International Partner Meeting in Sofia
From September, 4th until September, 5th 2008 the BLES Project team met in Sofia. It was the second international meeting. The countdown began: The BLES course “The Eco-Recycler” starts this November.

Kickoff meeting in Duisburg

Leonardo da Vinci project meets first time in Duisburg. The kickoff meeting took place on Monday the 3rd December 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Trainingsinstitute of Waste Disposal and Watermanagement in Duisburg.
